Day 01 Arrive Cochin - Thekkady (O/N Spice Village)
Upon arrival at Airport / Rly Stn. Our executive welcomes you and
explains the tour to you. Later you will be transferred to Spice
Village (185 kms / 4 ½ Hrs) set in the very heart of the Cardamom
Hills and designed in Tribal Village Style
Day 02 Thekkady (O/N Spice
Village)
Today early morning we visit the famous Periyar wild life sanctuary
where you go on Boat ride on a man made lake, to view the wildlife
in it’s natural way. If you are lucky on that day you can have look
at some wild animals & be prepared there are unlucky days too. Today
afternoon you take The Spice Plantation tour. You will be taken
around some of the Plantations and explained the way various spices
are grown and processed.
Day 03 Thekkady to Kumarakom
(O/N Coconut Lagoon)
Depart Thekkady and drive to Coconut Lagoon (130 kms / 4 hrs), which
is considered as one of the best Heritage Resort. This resort is
located in the very heart of the magical backwaters and is designed
to give visitors an authentic insight into Kuttanad life.
Day 04 Kumarakom (O/N Coconut
Lagoon)
Just relax in the comfort of your resort or under those beautiful
palms where birds play the age-old traditional music.
Day 05 Kumarakom to Marari
(O/N Marari Beach Resort)
Transfer to famous Marari beach resort (40 mnts) designed and built
in the style resembling a traditional fishing village.
Day 06 Mararikulam (O/N
Marari Beach Resort)
Morning Coir factory visit. At the factory, get exposed to large
coir processing wooden looms and the fascinating sight of persons
working on it. View that beautiful end results inform of the well
designed coir carpets.
Day 07 Marari to Cochin (O/N
Casino)
Drive to Cochin (50 kms/ 1 Hr) and check in to the Casino’s Flagship
hotel Casino. PM City tour of Cochin
Day 08 Cochin Departure
While you prepare to bid ad-dieu to Coconut Holidays, we meet and
transfer you to Apt/Rail Station, with the hope that we will meet
again in God’s Own Country.
